The motorway will close between junction 10 and junction 12 in both directions from 8pm on Friday, December 4 to 6am on Monday, December 7. Drivers have been urged to allow more time for their journeys and should plan ahead. Drivers will be diverted along the A4, A33, B3270 (Lower Earley Way) and A329M before rejoining the motorway or the same route in reverse. M4 junction 5 - junction 6 closure on December 11 – December 14 The motorway will also be closed in both directions for the entire weekend from December 11 to December 14. The M4 will be closed at junction 5 (Langley) and junction 6 (Slough and Windsor) from 8pm on Friday, December 11 to 6am on Monday, December 14 while Highways England teams demolish a bridge. The Datchet Road bridge over the M4 is one of 11 being demolished as part of the works to turn the M4 into a smart motorway. |
