Title: Copas Farms – Vision Document for Cookham Neighbourhood Plan Post by: Cookham Webmaster on December 17, 2020, 11:40:30 AM Copas Farms – Vision Document for Cookham Neighbourhood Plan
The first records for the Copas Family living in Cookham date back to the mid-1600s. Originally we were bargemen working on the Thames before becoming licensees of The Chequers Public House in Cookham Dean in 1827. The family started farming in 1890 using Commoners Rights on the Cookham Commons and purchased the first land in Cookham in 1901. http://www.cookham.com/images/CopasFarms.pdf Title: Re: Copas Farms – Vision Document for Cookham Neighbourhood Plan Post by: chrisri on December 18, 2020, 01:50:38 PM Thanks for this, very interesting.
Do you know when the community will be invited to comment? Thanks. Title: Re: Copas Farms – Vision Document for Cookham Neighbourhood Plan Post by: Cookham Webmaster on December 18, 2020, 06:39:49 PM I found this on the Parish Council’s website. It has various documents about the Plan. The Area Analysis is the latest document. I assume if we want to give input we just write to the Parish Council.

I’ve made contact with Cllr Bill Perry, they are very receptive and would like feedback (both good and bad). They can be contacted on: Cllr.BillPerry@cookhamparishcouncil.org.uk office@cookhamparishcouncil.org.uk Would be good to start feeding into them ASAP, these things have a habit of getting forgotten about. Thanks. |
