NO BURGLARIES AND NO THEFT FROM CARS – APART FROM A CATALYTIC CONVERTER. We had three businesses broken into over the weekend in Windsor – a dental surgery and two chemists. Two bricks thrown through glass front doors – and the third, with a forced door. The offenders were after cash kept in the premises and a safe and cash box were stolen. The offenders made off from the third business, when the alarm sounded. If you have a business, please make sure no cash is kept on the property at this time and the property is well secured and alarmed. There is really good product called ‘Smoke Cloak’, which is very effective and designed specifically for businesses. If an alarm is activated, the property fills with thick dense smoke within a second. It is very disorientating and offenders can see nothing and immediately try to get out. The smoke has an additional property. A very fine film of UV dye is also sprayed out at the same time, completely covering offenders, which fluoresces under UV light. It penetrates every pore of their bodies and clothing and is almost impossible to remove or wash away !!!
