As of 4pm on Sunday, January 10, Public Health England has recorded 37,425 lab-confirmed cases in areas including Reading, Bracknell, Wokingham, West Berkshire, Slough and Windsor and Maidenhead. The total number of positive Covid-19 cases across Berkshire in the last 24 hours is 895. The local breakdown for the past 24 hours as follows: Bracknell - 107 cases, 4,956 Wokingham - 135, 5,802 Reading - 197, 6,896 West Berkshire - 65, 4,145 Slough - 261, 9,668 Windsor and Maidenhead - 130, 5,958 There have now been 3,072,349 people across the UK who have tested positive for Covid-19. The total number of deaths - those with Covid-19 listed on their death certificate - across the UK has now reached 82,624. The latest seven-day rate per 100,000 people locally are as follows: Bracknell - 752.4 Reading - 722 West Berkshire - 374.9 Wokingham- 577.4 Windsor and Maidenhead - 671 Slough- 1,137.5 In today's national coronavirus news The Women’s Six Nations is set to be postponed as a result of the escalating coronavirus crisis at a time when uncertainty continues to hover over the men’s event.
