Title: COOKHAM MEDICAL CENTRE: UPDATE ON COVID VACCINATIONS
Post by: Cookham Webmaster on January 18, 2021, 02:16:09 PM
Vaccination letters are also now starting to be issued via post from NHS England with options of different vaccination centre locations.
Cookham Medical Centre are continuing to contact their patients directly by phone (in order of group priority) with details of how to book. Note that it is only the Maidenhead Town Hall Vaccination Centre that is available through the Medical Centre.
You may receive both communications whilst things are streamlined but instructions of how to book will be on both.

SECOND DOSE PATIENTS
For those who received their first vaccination on the week before Christmas at Maidenhead Town Hall, the SECOND DOSE IS NOW POSTPONED. You will (if you haven't already been) contacted to rearrange your second dose appointment (around 12 weeks of first dose) instead of the 2 week follow up.

HOUSEBOUND PATIENTS
The Maidenhead Team currently running the service at the Town Hall, will be vaccinating housebound patients on Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th January. This is being organised geographically for maximum efficiency and so it may not be a member of your own surgery who attends. The vaccinator will have been provided with health information by your own surgery beforehand so would be aware of any medical issues.  Further information can be found on the Cookham Medical Centre website here: https://www.cookhammedicalcentre.co.uk/info.aspx?p=19

Please try to be patient if you have not received your appointment call or letter yet. The Medical centre are working extremely hard to work through the list in order.
