The proposed cut slashes funding for protecting trees from bad development and unnecessary clearance. This will be a disaster for the trees, the wildlife that depends on them and set back plans to store carbon for the recently adopted Environment and Climate Strategy. If you can spare a few minutes to help save our trees, please object to budget cut 64 'Reshape the trees function' at the link above or by emailing Cllr.Stimson@RBWM.gov.uk (Lead member), Cllr.Johnson@RBWM.gov.uk (Leader), and david.scott@rbwm.gov.uk (Officer responsible for trees).
