Why on earth they couldn't have done this during the day Saturday and Sunday and laid on shuttle buses instead of trains (which they often do of a weekend anyway) beats me! And we were not notified in advance that the work would be going ahead which we have been in the past. Pity help any poor person who was on shifts and hoped to get a few hours shut eye!. If people want to complain they can do so to the Network Rail 24 Hour National Helpline: 03457 114141.
