: From Cookham Community Allotments : Cookham Webmaster March 15, 2021, 01:22:52 AM Reaching out to you wonderful people for the community allotment again....Becky has emailed me a few bits that we are really in need of since the gales and a few bits to finish our sensory area and expanded meeting space . We can’t thank you enough for your support and donations last time. The community allotment continues to thrive and offer a safe, welcoming , socially distanced space for so many who need it in our village .
“Since the gales on Thursday our old ‘shed’ which stores the hand tools and gloves, was blown almost inside out with gloves, hats etc distributed around the plot! It has been repaired countless times, and is now beyond repair. So our first priority would be for a plastic/metal or wooden tool store/ storage container. Secondly scaffolding boards, or other strong wooden boards. Also hazel poles or similar, for bean supports etc. we also would love any unwanted shells for one of our sensory steps “ someone is at the allotment Tuesday and Saturday 10-11.30am TIA |
