Title: BT phone boxes for sale for £1 Post by: Cookham Webmaster on March 15, 2021, 03:21:06 PM BT announced that almost 4,000 of its phone boxes across the UK are up for grabs as they are rarely used because of the growth of mobiles.
Since 2008, more than 6,600 phone boxes have been taken on for just £1 each through the Adopt a Kiosk programme. James Browne, of BT, said: “We’re currently rationalising our payphone estate to make it fit for the future”. Cookham Dean already have one for books is anyone else interested? |
