Title: Mounted Patrols In Windsor Post by: Thames Valley Police on April 15, 2021, 04:44:06 PM Thames Valley Police Mounted Section is carrying out patrols as part of security preparations in and around Windsor ahead of the funeral of HRH the Duke of Edinburgh.
Local residents and businesses will have noticed an increased police presence in Windsor, which is part of many visible and not so visible security measures in place. The Mounted Section is already patrolling the town centre, along with the surrounding area, to help provide reassurance to the public, local residents and businesses. The work is part of Thames Valley Police’s ongoing commitment to ensure that the public is kept safe at this time of national mourning.
