The highest number was found in Reading, where there were 70 new coronavirus cases. Meanwhile, there were another 23 cases in Slough and 25 in Windsor and Maidenhead. It brings the total number of cases in Berkshire to 61,437 since the start of the pandemic. The high number of new cases in Reading meant it continued to have the highest infection rate in the county, at 186.7 cases per 100,000 people.
