The second-highest was in Reading, where there were 117 new cases, followed by 112 in Wokingham, 88 in Windsor and Maidenhead, and 80 in West Berkshire. The smallest increase was in Slough, where there were 59 cases. The highest infection rate is in Bracknell Forest, where there are 370.5 cases per 100,000 people As of 9am on Sunday, there had been a further 48,161 lab-confirmed Covid-19 cases in the UK, the Government said. A further 25 people had died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19 as of Sunday, bringing the UK total to 128,708. Separate figures published by the Office for National Statistics show there have now been 154,000 deaths registered in the UK where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate.
