Across the United Kingdom there were another 33,904 positive coronavirus tests, bringing the total since the start of the pandemic to 6,355,887. There have also been another 111 people to die within 28 days of a positive covid test, meaning the UK death toll now stands at 131,260. Meanwhile 47,413,242 have had their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine while 40,987,846 people have been double-jabbed.
