Title: Vaccine and testing for ages 12 to 15 Post by: Cookham Webmaster on October 28, 2021, 07:25:09 PM If you’ve missed the visit of the Immunisation Team to your child’s school, or didn’t submit your consent form in time, don’t worry.
You can now book your child’s vaccine via the National Booking System https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/book-coronavirus-vaccination/?fbclid=IwAR2KNc4rCPl3CyUStVN0KFDWnYpdvRUi52qOqv8bvNvo4fLiXqv165ZKUn4 and choose the nearest Windsor or Maidenhead venue to you. If you live in Ascot, you can use those in Bracknell if that’s more convenient. Where possible, appointments should be booked outside of school hours to avoid missing lessons. Some vaccine centres however are organising additional sessions out of school hours to accommodate this. Find more information about vaccinations for 12-15-year-olds on the NHS website. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/coronavirus-vaccine-for-children-aged-12-to-15/ And remember to encourage your child to take a lateral flow test before they return to school on Monday. And please report the result, whether positive or negative. https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result |
