Title: Black Bin Collection Post by: Cookham Webmaster on December 22, 2021, 01:18:57 AM For those who are unaware, at Monday night's RBWM Corporate Overview and Scrutiny Panel it came to light that in order to deal with the bi-weekly bin collections, RBWM will be purchasing 6 new vehicles and the Serco contract will cost an additional half a million pounds.
Instead of the £175,000 saving that was given as a reason to reduce black bin collections, it will cost over £800,000 more in 2022 alone.
