NO BURGLARIES AND NO CARS BROKEN INTO FIRST – WE ARE RECRUITING VOLUNTEERS TO WORK WITH US: We are recruiting new members to join the Thames Valley Police's unique Community Safety Team who are based in the Windsor and Maidenhead Local Police Area (LPA). This role is very much an 'out and about' proactive role covering Windsor, Maidenhead and Ascot. The Community Safety Team is a team of specially trained volunteers who work proactively in the community providing crime prevention advice, confidence in policing, and community engagement. The role primarily is to support local Neighbourhood Police Teams. A part of the duty will be to attend internal and external events and initiatives as and when required. A minimum of 12 hours duty per calendar month is required. You will be provided a uniform in keeping with Thames Valley Police uniform. You will be expected to have: Good communication skills, as you will be working with police and communities. Time management and professionalism are further key aspects of this role. Having a UK driving licence would be preferable but not essential. Successful applicants will be provided bespoke training and ongoing development as part of their role.
