Talk: Our Uninvited Guests: The Secret Lives of Britain's Country Houses 1939-45.  Sunday, May 15th 7.30 pm -8.30 pm at Cookham Dean Village Hall.   As part of the Cookham Festival, one of England's best social historians, Julie Summers, will be providing a behind the scenes glimpse of life in some of Britain's greatest country houses that were occupied by people who would otherwise never have set foot in such opulent surroundings during WW2.
