A Met Office weather warning for thunderstorms has been issued for Berkshire today (Sunday, May 15). The yellow weather warning is going to be in force across between 8pm on Sunday and 5am on Monday, May 16

The weather warning is in force across the entire county, including Reading, Slough, Bracknell, Wokingham, Newbury, Windsor and Maidenhead. Some areas of southern England may experience a 'combination of heavy rain, frequent lightning and hail during Sunday night'.

The Met Office weather warning states: "There is a chance that thunderstorms may cause some flooding and disruption on Sunday night. Although the locations affected by thunderstorms remains uncertain, a few places may experience a combination of heavy rain, frequent lightning and hail during Sunday night.
