MET OFFICE ISSUES RARE RED WEATHER WARNING FOR HEAT
Temperatures are set to soar across Berkshire in the coming days. The Met Office has said there will be 'extreme heat' across many areas of the UK over the course of Sunday, July 16, Monday and Tuesday.
An amber weather warning covers the entire county, including Reading, Wokingham and Newbury, between midnight on Sunday and 11.59pm on Tuesday. A more severe red warning is also in force for areas of the county including Slough and Bracknell throughout Monday and Tuesday.
The 'extreme heat' warnings have seen bin collections change and railway companies urge people not to travel unless necessary. Emergency services in Berkshire also expect a surge in demand and some schools have announced they will be closed.
Whether you choose to find a cool and shady tree to sit under or avoid going out altogether, BerkshireLive has looked at the latest forecast from the Met Office to find the times of the day when Berkshire's largest towns will be hottest.
All forecasts are from the Met Office and subject to change:

Maidenhead and Newbury: 4pm (34C)
Monday July 18:
