With great sadness, we learnt about the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II yesterday. As a sign of respect for the Royal Family and the many people within our communities that are mourning her passing, we will be going quiet on social media during the mourning period. We have paused our national street harassment campaign and will delay the release of our September newsletter. As a further sign of respect, we have changed our logo on our social channels to the black and white version, which I have attached.
We posted the following message on all of our social channels: We would like to express our deepest sorrow at the passing of Her Majesty the Queen and offer our condolences to the Royal Family. Out of respect at this time of national mourning, we will go quiet on our social media channels.
To have one unified organisational voice on this, we recommend a similar approach is taken locally. We understand some communications will be necessary to continue during this period to offer your support to others and to keep people safe.
