An outdoor light exhibition boasting high-tech light trails will be returning to Berkshire this winter. Windsor Great Park Illuminated made its debut last year and is set for a return this November.

The trail will include new installations, some of which are inspired by the surroundings of Windsor Great Park. The park's woodland will be transformed into a winter wonderland, fitted with six large-scale floodlit water foundations, a 30-metre tunnel of light and a light installation of Windsor Castle itself.

The event will run from November 7 to January 2, 2023. The only day the installation will be closed is Christmas Day.

Customers will be able to visit the installation from 4:30pm to 10:30pm, with last entry taking place at 8pm. Tickets cost £19.25 for adults and £11 for children. You can also get a family ticket for £57.

Wildlife will play a big role at the Windsor-based event. Holographic deer, sparkling fireflies, and birds will make an appearance alongside realistic surround sound.

Along the trail, you'll also be able to find some festive food including mulled wine, hot chocolate, and more. There will even be firepits for marshmallow toasting and fairground rides located in the festive village.
