On Monday (23/1) Windsor and Maidenhead welcomed Superintendent Clare Knibbs as the new Local Policing Area (LPA) Commander, replacing Supt Michael Greenwood who has retired.

Supt Clare Knibbs joined Thames Valley Police in 1999, when she was based in Reading. She has worked in a range of roles since then and in different areas across the force, including CID, Domestic Abuse Investigation Unit, Child Abuse Investigation Unit, most recently being Head of Protecting Vulnerable People.

Chief Inspector Louise Warbrick also started in her position as the new Deputy LPA Commander in December 2022. C/Insp Warbrick joined Thames Valley Police in 2014 following a career in South Yorkshire Police within Neighbourhood and Response policing. For the past six years she has worked as a Neighbourhood Inspector within Windsor & Maidenhead LPA. She also performs the role of Force Tactical Firearms Commander.
