A brand new nostalgic pop music festival is set to take place in Reading this summer. Called Revival Reading, the event will see a host of acts from the 1990s and 2000s performing.
The festival-style event will take place in Prospect Park, Reading, on July 22. Several high-profile acts are set to perform at the event.
This includes popular musical acts such as Blue, Five, and n-trance. A number of different genres from pop, R&B and cheesy dance music will be performed to ensure everyone is amply entertained.
The event will run from 1pm until 10pm and will feature other activities alongside the music. This includes a variety of different food options from across the world as well as beer, cider and ale village; gin and prosecco bars; and a selection of funfair rides for the younger visitors.
The organisers' Facebook page says: "Revival UK heads to Reading’s Prospect Park on Saturday 22nd July for a whole day of retro awesomeness. Rewind back to the 90s and early 00s when pop music was at its absolute best.
They went on to describe the event as an "exciting boutique festival" which will relive the music of the era. Tickets for the event are now on sale and can be found on the Revival Reading website, several different ticketing options are available.
