For some months now the sound of a dog persistently barking has been heard in the Cookham Rise area near to Grange Road and Lower Road.
We are familiar with dogs barking during the day and its never been a problem as far as I know.
This is different though. The dog appears to be let out from around 06.30, starts barking then, and can still be heard barking late into the evening.
It sounds like a large dog.
Not only is the barking a nuisance that wakes people too early or prevents them having an early night before an early rise in the morning it is also concerning.
The dog may not be getting anything like the amount of exercise, attention and play that it needs and so will bark.

I have heard a dog barking around the New Road area of Lower Road, but not that often.
