Sadly, our plan for a big help out fair in Cookham Dean on Monday 8th May has been cancelled.
We invited 50 local organisations who involve volunteers or who are part of our community to take part. Of these just half replied and of those, and somewhat ironically, just 3 were able to find volunteers to staff a stand at the event.
My thanks to those who replied and for your positive feedback about the idea.
Although the Monday event will not be going ahead, the Metre Market on Friday 5th May is offering the opportunity for any organisation who wishes to attend, to come and have a free stall or stand at the market. Please contact Finbar Murphy
