Heavy rain is on the way in Berkshire as forecasters say when the heatwave will break As the mercury has soared to 28C in recent days we have enjoyed an incredibly dry start to summer.

However, this is all set to change by the weekend as the Met Office has issued a yellow thunderstorms warning. With the warning in place for all of England and Wales, forecasters expect heavy rain to bring disruption to parts of both countries.

In Reading, cloudy weather is expected throughout the day on Sunday (June 18) before rain sweeps in from about 1pm. Heavier rain is then expected from 4pm until later in the evening.
