Hello to everyone

I wonder if anyone remembers anyone in their family related to Catherine Mary Lawrence born in Bisham 18 December 1849.

She married Peter Palmer Cooley and lived for 40 plus years in Cookham. Peter died in November 1898 and unfortunately Catherine struggled. By 1901 she was in the local workhouse with daughter Blanche. Traffic really she had to sell her sowing machine to buy food for them and then struggled to look after Blanche as she had no income, so next she is sent to prison for x months hard labour for neglect. What awful times it must had been.

There was however a glimmer of hope that the story may end up in a good place because I found that Catherine in fact remarried Thomas Smith who was born in Kingston 1850. They married in 20 April 1903 and lived at 16 River Street, Windsor.  However my trail runs out after this I have yet to establish their deaths and any living relatives who know anything at all.

I had hoped that mother and daughter Lilian from my previous posting may have reunited at some point.

If anyone knew the Lawrence family or what happened to Catherine please do get in touch.

Thank you.
