170,000 people signed up to become an NHS army volunteer in just 15hrs.

They need symptom-free, fit and well volunteers who are 18 or over to help with:

-  collecting shopping, meds and essential supplies
- transporting discharged patients safely back home
- transporting NHS equipment, supplies and meds
- check in and chat telephone support to people who are at risk of loneliness
