The latest figures, published on Monday, March 30, show there are now 234 cases in Berkshire.

There are currently

73 positive cases of the virus in Slough
28 in Reading
21 in Bracknell
23 in Wokingham
48 in Windsor and Maidenhead
41 in West Berkshire
Across the UK of 9am on Monday (March 30), a total of 134,946 people have been tested, of which 112,805 were confirmed negative and 22,141 were confirmed positive.

Cases of coronavirus have continued to rise in Berkshire as the crisis continues.

It has now been just over a month since the first confirmed diagnosis in our county.

The latest figures show 230 people have been diagnosed.

Tragically, there have been a number of deaths in our area too.

March 2020 has been an extraordinary month in Berkshire - and across the country.

The crisis began to take hold in the early part of the month, which led to the first person in the country to die after being diagnosed with coronavirus being at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading.

It is also known nine people died after being treated Slough's Wexham Park Hospital.

it is understood all had underlying health conditions.
