In Berkshire, the number of positive COVID-19 cases now stands at 824 up from 744 yesterday.

Slough still has the highest number of cases in the county, with 194, followed by 142 in Wokingham and 141 in Reading, Berkshire.


And there are also now 126 cases in Windsor and Maidenhead, 131 in West Berkshire and 90 in Bracknell.

As of 9am on April 9, 298,169 tests have concluded across the UK, with 16,095 tests carried out on April 8. Some individuals are tested more than once for clinical reasons. 243,421 people have been tested, of whom 65,077 tested positive.

The tests concluded figure excludes data from Northern Ireland. As of 5pm on April 8, of those hospitalised in the UK who tested positive for coronavirus, 7,978 have died.
