Thames Valley Police is appealing for the public’s help in tracing a woman who has been reported missing from Marlow.

The 72-year-old woman, was reported missing by her family yesterday (13/4).

She is white, approximately 5ft 5ins tall with distinctive purple hair which is just above shoulder length.

She walks with a limp, but it is unknown what she was wearing when she went missing.

She is known to frequent the fish and chip shop in Marlow High Street, the Methodist Church and the town centre of Marlow.

LPA Commander for Wycombe, Superintendent Christina Berenger said: “We are very concerned for her welfare, as her disappearance is completely out of character.

“I am urging anybody who believe that they may have seen her to contact Thames Valley Police on 101, quoting reference number 43200112191.

“In an emergency, you can call 999.

“Her family are naturally very concerned for her, and this appeal is directed to anybody who may have been out in the last 24 hours and believe that they have seen her, or anybody matching her description."

For legal reasons we can't publish the missing woman's name or photograph in a Thames Valley Alert so please take a look at our press release for more detail: https://www.thamesvalley.police.uk/news/thames-valley/news/2020/april/13-04-2020/urgent-appeal-for-help-tracing-missing-woman--marlow/

Following our earlier appeal to find a 72-year-old woman who had gone missing from her home in Marlow, we're pleased to say that she has now been found safe and well.

Thank you to anyone who shared our appeal.
