We are a cycle friendly Borough and promote the clear public health and environmental benefits that cycling delivers. We have recently made significant investments in new cycle routes in both Windsor and Maidenhead, including storage for 300 cycles at the station.

The Government has recently announced support for additional cycle and walking initiatives, however it is not yet clear how much funding will be available to RBWM or when. We are therefore currently investigating and consulting on a range of possible initiatives so that any funding we receive can be used to further encourage responsible cycling within the Borough. At all times public safety will be our priority as we look at schemes that promote cycle use, facilitate the current social distancing requirements and help support our local economy.
