Eight more people have tested positive Berkshire coronavirus.

The daily figures on Friday May 29 show there have been no new deaths at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust and Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.


The news comes as another 324 people have died in hospitals across the country.

Number of additional cases on Friday May 29 across the county is 2,095.

As of today, Reading still has the highest number of cases in Berkshire, with 584 patients testing positive.

Slough is in second place with 452 cases.

In other parts of the county, 377 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in West Berkshire, 444 in Wokingham, 292 in Windsor and Maidenhead, and 255 in Bracknell.

The latest figures in Berkshire

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust  – 338 (no new deaths)
Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust  – 174 (no new deaths)
Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust  - 17 (no new deaths)
