Deaths related to coronavirus in hospital trusts operating in and around Berkshire now stand at 556 since the start of the pandemic, according to NHS England figures released on Thursday (June 11).

UK-wide deaths related to Covid-19 now stand at 41,279, up 151 in 24 hours.

There have been 291,409 confirmed cases across the country.

For a breakdown of patient deaths recorded in trusts operating in and around Berkshire, please see below.

The latest figures in Berkshire

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust – 356
Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust – 180
Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust - 20
It is important to note that Frimley Health runs sites outside of Berkshire, for example Frimley Hospital in Surrey, so it is hard to get an accurate figure for the exact amount of deaths in Berkshire alone.

Cases in the county where people have tested positive for coronavirus now stand at 2,448.

As of Thursday, Reading still has the highest number of cases in Berkshire, with 593 patients testing positive.

Slough has 458 positive cases, while Bracknell has 260.

West Berkshire's cases remain at 382, Wokingham's remain at 453.

To date, 302 people have tested positive in Windsor and Maidenhead.
