A new £400 million plan to completely revamp Nicholsons shopping centre in Maidenhead is a "once in a century opportunity".

The plans contain hundreds of new homes and more than 60 shops and restaurants, as well as a workspace for 2,000 people. If permitted, it would see new squares and streets created.

The development proposes a square, named after Sir Nicholas Winton - one of the town's most famous people, known for his astonishing work with Jewish children during World War Two.

Other streets will have restaurants, street food, boutiques, food makers and numerous other businesses.
