BISHAM, COOKHAM, HURLEY, THE WALTHAMS, LITTLEWICK GREEN & KNOWL HILL:
16/6  Tuesday 0.40 a.m.  Shop. High Street Cookham.  Attempted burglary.  Neighbours were awoken by loud banging.  They looked out to see a car parked up and a man trying to smash the shop window with a paving slab.  They shouted and the man ran back to the waiting car with its boot open and engine running.  He jumped in and the car drove off at speed towards Sutton Road.  This incident was captured on CCTV, but if anyone in that area has additional video doorbell / CCTV footage of anything suspicious, or connected to this incident, please make contact with us, quoting ref. No:  432001709112
15/6  Monday 1 p.m. 3 p.m.  Pub car Park, Sutton Road, Cookham.  Car keyed.  Ref. No: 43200178711
15/6  Monday 10.30 a.m.  Burchetts Green Road, Burchetts Green.  2 vehicles, one a van broken into on a driveway.  Citizen black watch, Oakley sunglasses, 2 Makita saws with boxes and other tools stolen from one, A laser level, Stihl saw, 2 Makita drills, a Makita reciprocating saw, 5 Makita batteries and a charger stolen from the other.  Often the rear compartments of vans are not alarmed.  If you have a van, it is often impossible to empty it of tools when parked up at night.  If you have a van, or know of anyone with a van, recommend that they buy a ‘shed alarm’ to place in the back.  These are very inexpensive and often on special offer, at major online retail outlets.  They need no fixing and can simply be placed inside the rear of a van / shed / garage, contain a heat and motion sensor, are really easy to operate - fobbed on and off and are battery powered.  They sound at 110 dbls, which in the early hours, in the back of a metal van, will be deafening and wake up everyone around.  A few pounds, could save hundreds of pounds worth of tools, which are often someone’s livelihood !  Ref. No: 43200178287
15/6  Monday 2 a.m.  Shepherds Close, Hurley.  A catalytic converter stolen from under a Toyota Prius.  Ref. No:  43200178318
