I was looking at Cookham via Google streetview the other day and found to my astonishment that they had the temerity to drive down with their camera car and map a private driveway as if it were a road. It looks like, unless you like in gated enclaves like places around Virginia Water, Google are more than happy to drive their camera car down anything that even vaguely resembles a road.
I've requested the removal of the 'road' from streetview so let's see how that pans out. In the interim, you may want to review google mapping around your area; they're certainly 'enthusiastic' about their coverage, to put it politely. Not helpful when you read about houses being marked up by potential dog thieves as well.
