The Cherry Pickers of Cookham Dean have sadly had to cancel the usual Boxing Day games this year. Instead, to get everybody out and about, they will organize a suitably distanced walking quiz in Cookham Dean for households.

The walking quiz (keen participants can also choose to run!) will start from outside the Village Hall in Cookham Dean and follow a route that will take between 60 and 90 minutes to walk, finishing outside the Jolly Farmer pub who plan to offer take away food and beverages. On the way, the contestants can test their detection and navigation skills. The terrain will be suitable for young people but may prove challenging for buggies.

Entrants are asked to make a donation of £10 to the Cherry Pickers funds. Each team will be issued with a question sheet and direction clues. Groups (single households only) will set off at short intervals. The first start will be at 10:30 and last entries will be accepted at mid-day. Please bring a mobile phone and/or a compass and a pen or pencil. There will be prizes!

There is no need to enter in advance but if you have any questions, please contact Peter at 07802 216241 or peter@throughtheloop.com .
