As part of a consultation on proposals to introduce measures to reduce traffic, encourage greater use of public transport and make the Royal Borough a safer place for walking and cycling, we are holding two virtual meetings for residents.

The meetings are a chance for you to hear more about the proposals for Low Traffic Neighbourhoods in Clewer North and Clewer South, Windsor, the timed closure of roads near schools in Ascot, Maidenhead and Windsor and the installation of a bus gate on Shoppenhangers Road, Maidenhead to prevent motor vehicles from using the area as a cut-through. There will also be an opportunity for you to ask questions.

The sessions are on Tuesday 2 February 5 - 6.30pm and Thursday 4 February 6.30 - 8pm. You can register for either event on our Eventbrite page. Once registered, if you don’t receive a confirmation email in your inbox, please check your junk or spam mail folder. https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/windsor-and-maidenhead-active-travel-proposals-public-meeting-tickets-138287259917

The meetings are an opportunity for residents to learn more about the proposals and to ask questions. We encourage anyone who wants to share their feedback on the cycling and walking improvements which these proposals are part of, to complete the online consultation https://consultprojectcentre.co.uk/rbwmactivetravel by the closing date of Tuesday 9 February.

More information on this consultation can be found in the press release. https://www.rbwm.gov.uk/news/have-your-say-proposed-cycling-and-walking-schemes
