We are back up and running with @CookhamSOS Foodshare points around the village from Friday morning (22nd) with 2 new drop off boxes.
Foodshare Maidenhead are desperately needing food donations, particularly for the Hunger Project which ensures that children's food is topped up whilst home schooling.  Please see the list in the first comments for food which is needed.

A huge thank you to Suzanne Bailey and the Odney Team for enabling the logistics to work and for getting the donations from our volunteers to the Foodshare HQ and of course to our team of Volunteers for collating the food and managing the boxes ready for our collections.
THE DROP OFF POINTS ARE:
1. The Vicarage, Church Gate, Cookham, SL6 9SP
2. 78, Westwood Green. Cookham, SL6 9DE
3.  6 Sleekstone Cottages, Grange Road, Cookham, SL6 9TG (* NEW *)
4. 56 Broom Hill, Cookham, SL6 9LW (* NEW * )

FOODSHARE UPDATE! GRANGE ROAD BOX HAS BEEN MOVED!
Thank you so much for all the lovely messages of support after our Foodshare box was 'permanently borrowed' last week.
Undeterred, we are pleased to say that we've tweaked the location of the Grange Road box and the wonderful chaps at Cookham Post Office have been really helpful in letting us move our box to outside the shop for safer keeping.  The box will be there during their opening hours of 8.30am - 7pm.
Thank you so much Hardeep, Sunny and Maninda for fully supporting the cause and helping us sort our issue.
The foodshare facebook post with all the locations has been updated so if you need further information on these, just comment below so I can tag you.
This is a great new location for the box and you can now support not only the shop by buying Foodshare donations, but the tummies of the people who would otherwise go without.
THANK YOU COOKHAM!  PLEASE KEEP DONATING x

COOKHAM SOS/FOODSHARE CALLOUT

Things were a little quieter with our Foodshare Maidenhead boxes last week so please do pop a little donation of food into one of our 6 boxes this week if you can.

Ive just had a chat with Debbie Gee who runs Foodshare and she has an urgent need for items for the individual/family list please, especially TINNED MEAT and TINNED FRUIT.

I do agree. There was one in Grange Road that got taken and the contents strewn over the road.
