Exactly 426,003 people have received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine in Berkshire, as of the week ending April 18.

Across the county, the number of people fully or partially vaccinated against Covid varies, with areas with an older population predictably seeing bigger numbers.

There have been 64,979 people vaccinated in Reading, or 39.81 per cent of the population aged 16 or over.

This is the lowest percentage of any area in the county since Reading’s population is generally younger.

In Slough, the figure is 58,224, or a similarly low 43.42 per cent.

This is compared to a national average of 54.5 per cent in England as a whole, or 27,515,929 people.

In comparison, there have been 81,451 people vaccinated in Windsor and Maidenhead, or 59.97 per cent.

In West Berkshire, 80,530 people have been vaccinated, or 58.15 per cent of the population.

In Wokingham, the figure is 82,848, or 55.24 per cent.

Bracknell Forest has 57,971 people vaccinated; that is 54.9 per cent of the population.
