15/5 Saturday 11 p.m. / 11.05 Nursery, Stubbings Lane. Attempted break in. Security arrived as soon as the alarm sounded and the offender made off. Nothing stolen. Caught on CCTV. Ref. No: 43210210307
15/5 Saturday 11.30 p.m. Pinkney’s Road. Burglary. The owners went out. When they returned they could not open the front door and their 2 cars were stolen from the drive, along with jewellery. 1 A white Toyota Prius index LF ** GGA 2. A black Audi Q5 index FV ** NGF. Tidy search of the whole house, Unknown point and means of entry. Ref. No: 43210210049 When cars like this are stolen, they are driven to a quiet road where they won’t stand out, in order to establish if they have Trackers fitted. If they are still there 24 hours later, they can be driven away with a set of fake plates blue tacked on !
