This is a decrease in positive cases compared to 441 yesterday.

According to Public Health England there have now been 76,880 coronavirus cases across Berkshire since the start of the pandemic last year.

The largest one-day increase across Berkshire was in Reading, where there were 80 positive tests in the 24 hours leading to 9am today (August 14).

The second-largest increases were in Wokingham, with 78, and Slough, 68..

West Berkshire recorded 57 new cases, Windsor and Maidenhead had 58 new cases, while Bracknell Forest had 52.

Nationwide, the Government said a further 93 people had died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19 as of Saturday, bringing the UK total to 130,894.

As of 9am on Saturday, there had been a further 29,520 lab-confirmed Covid-19 cases in the UK, the Government said.

Here are the latest rolling seven-day coronavirus infection rates per 100,000 people in Berkshire for the week ending August 9:

Reading: 368 (up from 352.4)
Bracknell Forest: 252.9 (up from 249.7)
Windsor and Maidenhead: 273 (down from 274.3)
Wokingham: 234.6 (up from 229.4)
West Berkshire: 234.1 (up from 231.6)
Slough: 264.1 (up from 259.4)

This is the latest breakdown of confirmed cases for each area of Berkshire since the start of the pandemic, plus the change in the last 24 hours (in brackets):

Reading: 15,322 (+80)
Windsor and Maidenhead: 11,601 (+58)
Slough: 18,514 (+68)
Bracknell Forest: 10,206 (+52)
Wokingham: 11,911 (+78)
West Berkshire : 9,322 (+57)

Government data up to August 13 shows that of the 87,627,380 Covid jabs given in the UK, 47,254,399 were first doses, a rise of 39,047 on the previous day.

Some 40,372,981 were second doses, an increase of 166,952.
