There have been another 369 coronavirus cases discovered in Berkshire over the past 24 hours to Monday (August 16) - up from 364 yesterday.

According to Public Health England there have now been 77,609 positive coronavirus cases across the county since the pandemic was declared last year.

It comes as the latest seven-day infection rates across half of the areas of Berkshire show a decrease - with infection rates in Windsor and Maidenhead, Wokingham and Slough increasing.

The largest one-day increase came in Reading and Slough where each saw another 74 coronavirus cases.

The second-highest was in West Berkshire where there were another 61 positive covid tests, with 58 in Wokingham and 53 in Bracknell Forest.

There were 49 cases in Windsor and Maidenhead, the smallest increase.

There were another 28,438 lab-confirmed Covid-19 cases in the UK as of 9am today, the Government said, making the total 6,295,213.

Another 26 people had died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19 as of Monday, bringing the UK total to 130,979.

Meanwhile Government data up to August 15 shows that of the 88,037,283 Covid jabs given in the UK, 47,333,702 were first doses, a rise of 31,257 on the previous day.

Some 40,703,581 were second doses, an increase of 126,383.

Here are the latest rolling seven-day coronavirus infection rates per 100,000 people in Berkshire for the week ending August 11:

Reading: 365.5 (down from 381.1 )
Bracknell Forest: 255.3 (down from 306 )
Windsor and Maidenhead: 281.6 (up from 279.6 )
Wokingham: 248.4 (up from 243.8 )
West Berkshire: 241.1 (down from 243 )
Slough: 292.2 (up from 286.1)

This is the latest breakdown of confirmed cases for each area of Berkshire since the start of the pandemic, plus the change in the last 24 hours (in brackets):

Reading: 15,466 (+74)
Windsor and Maidenhead: 11,712 (+49)
Slough: 18,628 (+74)
Bracknell Forest: 10,309 (+53)
Wokingham: 12,058 (+58)
West Berkshire : 9,436 (+61)
