A person has been hit by a train between London Paddington and Slough.

Emergency services are currently at the scene of the incident, with railway services blocked and some trains cancelled as a result.

Services to Heathrow Airport are among those affected, with disruption expected until the end of the day.

GWR trains to Reading, Heathrow Express services and Transport for London Rail trains are affected.

A National Rail spokesperson said: "A person has been hit by a train between London Paddington and Slough.

"As all lines are currently closed, trains may be cancelled or diverted until the end of the day."
