M4 will NOT be closed this weekend!

There is no closure over the Jubilee weekend, thank goodness.  The M4, like other motorways and other major roads will see roadworks lifted to ease congestion.

National Highways, which maintains motorways and many dual carriageways on the UK's Strategic Road Network - including the M4 and A34 in Berkshire - has lifted more than 1,000 miles of roadworks for the four-day weekend. This means 98% of the country's major roads have no roadworks on them.
