The Baton is expected to depart from Library Square, in St Ives Road, following a reception of dignitaries and schoolchildren at around 9.20am. It will then proceed along Maidenhead Waterways in a Canadian canoe as far as the pontoon.

Those wishing to watch the relay can watch the baton travel via the viewing areas on the Waterways bridges. The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Council is encouraging people to arrive in plenty of time as space there is limited.

The Baton will then go to Taplow Lake for a wakeboarding and paddle boarding session with an invited audience, before making tracks to Thames Valley Athletics Centre to join Windsor Girls' sports day. It will then travel to the private grounds of Eton College.

At around 10.35am, a hand-to-hand relay down Eton High Street, over Eton Bridge and along the promenade on Barry Avenue, Windsor is set to take place. People will be able to line Eton High Street to watch, with additional public viewing areas on Eton Bridge and the pavements along Barry Avenue.

Motorists should be warned that traffic will be temporarily held as the Baton passes on Pococks Lane, side roads leading into Eton High Street and along Barry Avenue. The relay is expected to reach the bandstand at Alexandra Gardens, Windsor, and everyone is invited to join a community celebration from 10.30am until 1pm. There will be music, have a go' sports and selfies with Batonbearers.
