Thames Valley Police is issuing advice to residents following a rise in theft from motor vehicle incidents in the area.

Having your car broken into and losing your possessions to thieves can be very distressing.

Here are a few simple steps you can take to keep your vehicle, and what’s in it, safe:

-        Always lock your car

-        Park in well-lit areas

-        Take any documents with you

-        Take belongings with you, or hide them out of sight, including any shopping you may have

Please read our theft from motor vehicle crime prevention page on our website - Prevent theft from a vehicle | Crime Prevention | Thames Valley Police https://www.thamesvalley.police.uk/cp/crime-prevention/keeping-vehicles-safe/vehicle-safe-and-sound/
