Residents are being asked to be prepared after an alert for possible flooding for the River Thames from Hurley to Cookham was issued by the Environment Agency.

The warning has been issued based on rising river or tidal levels.

The alert states that flooding is possible in this area and asks people to monitor local water levels and weather conditions, avoid using low lying footpaths or going into areas prone to flooding.

Those living in the area are also being asked to start acting on their flood plan if they have one.
