Have you ever thought about visiting our Police Museum? Why not take the opportunity on Sunday 29th Jan between 15:00 & 17:00pm, when it is open for non-appointment visitors.
The museum is situated within Sulhamstead House, Sulhamstead, near Reading RG7 4DX. The building dates back to 1744 and the Museum contains history relating to Thames Valley Police and the 5 constituent forces that amalgamated to form it on the 01/04/1968. We have original artefacts relating to the Great Train Robbery (1963), Amelia DYER (1896) & the Denham Murders (1870). We also have are large collection of police uniform & equipment on display.
